Më së shumti,janë ato gati të gjitha llojet e teksteve në kohën e tyre. Por për fat të keq, ato ndodhen vetëm shkëmbinjve, si vula dhe mbishkrime të shkurtra mbijetuar.
Ndër këto gjejmë: tekstet e kultit, afirmimi mbretëror i suzerainty, shenjat e pronësisë dhe ndoshta shënimet e shkëmbimit të dhuratave. Më poshtë do të gjeni një fjali të mostrës në Phrygian:

What were the Phrygians writing?
Most probably, Phrygians produced all kind of texts in their time. Unfortunately only rock cuts, seals and graffito survived. Amongst these we find: cult texts, royal affirmation of suzerainty, curse formulas, marks of ownership and perhaps notations of gift exchange. Below you will find some sample sentences in Phrygian:
